Local Link Kildare South Dublin offers bus services to and from Maynooth University during term time. We are pleased to inform you of the enhancements to our service for this term. Please take note of the following information for the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.

Service Provision

Transport will be provided for first year orientation taking place on Tuesday 10th September,

Wednesday 11th September and the week beginning on the 16th of September.  Normal services provided from Monday 23rd September. Timetables are available to view on our website.

Registration

We encourage students to ‘register for a seat’.  This is to allow us to ensure that we have capacity for our three routes.  Registration does not mean you have pre-booked a seat as the services we provide are public transport.

People can register by calling our office on 045 980383 or 045 980281.   Alternately email kildaresd@locallink.ie with your name, contact details, which service you wish to avail of and your pickup location.

Leap Card Single Ticket Options

Local Link Kildare South Dublin are delighted to announce that Leap Card Single tickets are now an option on all are three routes to Maynooth.

MU 117: Clonbullogue -Maynooth

MU 217: Edenderry-Maynooth

MU 317: Ballyteague- Maynooth
